Join the CU Herd on the “Buffs Over the Border” Spring Break Surf Trip to Sayulita, Mexico.
What can you expect from the trip?
A Typical Day
Wake up at your leisure…its nice knowing the beach is only 100 yards away! Grab a towel and your surf board because its time to hang ten. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, the Sayulita surf has something for you. Take a lesson or ask your trip guide for help. If you are ready, head out to the real waves!
Waves for beginners…
and waves for the advanced!
After you get tired feel free to lay around on the beach or go grab some of the “best fish tacos in the world”. Or maybe grab a coconut to drink from and go on one of the many breathtaking hikes along the cliffs, beaches, and through the jungle!
As the sun begins to set and the days cool join in on a futbol (soccer) game in the park. Everyone is invited!
A Typical Night
After a day of sun and surf nothing hits better than some great authentic Mexican food. Whether you are on a budget (scrumptious 80 cent taco stands are all over) or want to get fancy (La Bicicleta has some amazing French food) there is something for you. Don’t forget to follow dinner up with homemade gelato.
Come on back and hang out (literally in a hammock) with fellow Buffs at our bungalows. Its the perfect place to start the night.
When you are ready to explore the night life take a short walk (about 10 yards) to the centro, the bustling center of town right outside our bungalows. Watch street performers, grab a drink and catch some reggae music, or head to the beach to watch fire dancers.
Fun Adventures
Ask your guide about sunset horseback rides along the beach, deep sea fishing, mountain bike tours, canopy tours, bull fights and more! We have been here before and know what these things are all about (as well as how to get the best deals on them).
Also, we will organize a potluck dinner at a beautiful location on the beach. Everyone brings food and together we cook it on the fire!
