Senior Ski Weekend in Crested Butte

When: January 23rd-25th, 2009

Where: Crested Butte, CO - some of the best skiing in the state that you probably have never hit!

What You Get: 2-day lift ticket for epic Crested Butte, 2 nights lodging on the mountain, a welcome reception on Friday, a celebratory 3-course dinner Saturday night in downtown Crested Butte, breakfasts each day, and an amazing weekend with a hundred fellow seniors.

CU Idol Auditions - Winner Gets $1000!

CU Idol is the most prestigious and entertaining singing competition on campus.  Come audition for one of 10 coveted spots with your best a cappela song.

Time: 1:00pm-5:00pm

Dates: Thursday February, 12th and Friday February 13th

Location: Club 156 in the UMC Connection

Details: The winner of CU Idol gets $1000, 2nd place gets $500, 3rd place gets $250. Each finalist will take home half of their winnings and give the other half to a student group or department of their choice.

Final Show: If you earn one of the final 10 spots you must be available March 6th for the final show.

What can you expect from the trip?

A Typical Day

Wake up at your leisure…its nice knowing the beach is only 100 yards away! Grab a towel and your surf board because its time to hang ten. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, the Sayulita surf has something for you. Take a lesson or ask your trip guide for help. If you are ready, head out to the real waves!

St. Baldrick’s Day

Thanks to all those who helped shave the way to conquer kid’s cancer. You raised over $20,000 for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation! See you next year!

St Balds

For the second year the Herd supported the fight against kids cancer! St. Baldrick’s Day is an organization that raises research money for kids with cancer. Participants find donations from friends and family to support the cause while the participant shows their dedication to the cause by shaving their head!
