Try out for CU’S GOT TALENT! Auditions are being held September 27th and 28th from 10am-6pm in the UMC (room not yet known)! Everyone that tries out will receive a FREE Illegal Pete’s entrée!

The actual event will be Thursday, October 14th at 7:00pm in the Visual Arts Building room 1B20. Everyone is invited! Bring your parents for Family Weekend and show them the skill your fellow classmates have!

7th Annual Nearly Naked Mile – Clothing Drive

Join The Herd as it gets close to midnight for a thrilling run through campus.  Strip down  and run Nearly Naked through campus!

The way it works:

Come wearing the clothing that you wish to donate.  Donate 5 or more articles of clothing and receive a custom Nearly Naked Herd t-shirt!! (While supplies last)   It’s almost Halloween, come hang out and enjoy music and warm food/drinks  before the race with hundreds of other students in their minimal clothing/costume.  Then race through campus with a Herd of hundreds of students Nearly Naked and the winner will receive a prize.  Don’t miss out on an opportunity to run Nearly Naked through campus!  Last year there were over 500 students!

Prizes for: race winners,  best costumes, and free snacks for everyone!!!

Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Join The Herd at College Night at the Rockies.  All Colorado colleges will be hanging out at the Rockies game at DISCOUNTED ticket prices.  Come and enjoy other Buff company along with free food and Herd prizes!

The Herd will be taking the RTD down to Coors field, at Broadway and 16th street. The Herd will meet before hand at the Koenig Alumni Center and walk to the bus together.

The Herd will also have a pregame party at Blake Street Tavern.  There you will get a chance to socialize with the CU Young Alums.  Appetizers will be provided!  The time is 5:30 for the pregame party.

The first pitch is at 7:10 p.m. so we will walk over in time to see the game.  DON”T MISS OUT!

As part of the Welcomefest activities The Herd will be hosting a hike.  Free lunch will be provided afterwards.  Be sure to bring a camera and water!

Meet at the Koenig Alumni Center at 9:00am on Saturday.  The Alumni Center is located on the corner of University and Broadway across from Starbucks.

From Koenig we will head to Chautauqua for a beautiful hike with amazing views!
