-

Where do the buses go and when? - Keystone/A-Basin and Breckenridge. Maybe Vail in early January. Ski bus starts Nov. 8th and runs to April 12th. Visit www.cuskibus.com for exact locations and dates.
- Sign up location - You no longer sign up for the ski bus at the Rec Center. You can only sign up at www.cuskibus.com
- Sign up options - You can sign up for any of the ski bus dates right away! You no longer have to wait until the week of to sign up! If you want to plan a trip, sign up today and guarantee yourself a spot!
- Bus pick up times/locations - 6:00am at Williams Village Bus Stop; 6:15am at Kittredge Loop Road & Regent Drive; 6:30am at Farrand Field at Farrand Hall. Ski Bus departs from the resort at the same location as it arrived at, promptly at 4:00pm. Driver or on-duty manager may change location, call 303-882-6348 for information.
- Cost - Rides for Herd members on the ski bus are only $7, but they are $15 for CU students who are not members of the Herd. Riders who sign up as Herd members MUST have a current, valid Herd card when they come to the bus or they will be charged the full $15.
- Improvements - This year we are running more buses than ever (26!) and have purchased more spots per bus for Herd members. Also, the buses that go to Keystone will continue on to A-Basin for the first time ever.
- Why isn’t it free for Herd members? - For the 2008-2009 ski bus we have changed our policy for a couple of reasons. 1) The price of the ski bus rose from $10 to $15. 2) We are running more buses and purchasing more spots on the buses. 3) Many Herd members were signing up, but not showing up for the bus - this took spots away from others who wanted to ride and was not helping the positive environmental impact that the ski bus hoped to create. We hope that having students pay a portion of the cost will give them more incentive to ride. We still feel that a $7 coach bus ride to and from the mountains is an amazing deal for our members and we hope you understand our reasons for change.
The CU Ski Bus is run by the Environmental Center. If you travel to the mountains we hope you will take the CU Ski Bus or carpool at www.skicarpool.com!
